Overview

When customers access your funnel link, they go through a structured flow that collects their information, satisfaction rating, and either a review or feedback depending on their rating and the marketplace type.

The flow varies slightly based on:

  • Funnel Type: Review & Lead, ARC Review & Lead, or Lead Capture funnel
  • Marketplace Type: Unified Review Marketplaces vs. Non-unified Marketplaces
  • Customer Rating: High ratings (4-5 stars) vs. Low ratings (1-3 stars)
  • Freebie Configuration: Whether a freebie is included

NOTE: Lead Capture funnels skip product selection, satisfaction rating,
      and review steps. They focus solely on lead capture.

Marketplace Routing & Review Paths

Unified Review Marketplaces (7 Marketplaces)

These marketplaces can keep review and private feedback choices on one customer step. For 1-3 star ratings, the exact screen depends on whether Force feedback routing for low rating is enabled on the funnel.

  • Amazon - All countries (US, UK, IN, CA, DE, FR, ES, IT, JP, AU, etc.)
  • eBay - All countries
  • Etsy
  • Goodreads
  • Myntra
  • Flipkart
  • Walmart

How it works:

  • 4-5 stars: Customer writes a public review. The review is required before they continue. The optional "Private note to the seller" box appears only when the funnel setting Show "Private note to the seller" on positive review step is enabled.
  • 1-3 stars, checkbox off: Customer sees private feedback first, plus an optional public review section below it.
  • 1-3 stars, checkbox on: Customer sees only the feedback/private note box. The public review box and marketplace sharing button are not shown.

Non-Unified Marketplaces

These marketplaces use separate paths based on customer satisfaction rating. High ratings go to review writing, while low ratings go to feedback collection by default.

How it works:

  • High Rating (4-5 stars): Customer sees review writing page with Quick Review Assist option. They write a review that can be posted publicly. The optional "Private note to the seller" box appears only when the seller enables it for positive review steps.
  • Low Rating (1-3 stars): Customer sees feedback collection page. They write feedback that is private to the seller (not posted publicly). This is already the default behavior, so the Force feedback routing checkbox is not needed for these marketplaces.

Rating Thresholds

5-Star Rating Scale:

  • 4-5 stars: High rating → Review path
  • 1-3 stars: Low rating → Feedback path for non-unified marketplaces; for unified marketplaces, either private feedback + optional review or feedback-only, depending on the Force feedback routing checkbox

3-Option Rating Scale:

  • 👍 (Positive): High rating → Review path
  • 👎 (Negative): Low rating → Feedback path for non-unified marketplaces; unified marketplaces follow the Force feedback routing checkbox setting
  • 😐 (Neutral): Treated as low rating and follows the same routing as 1-3 star ratings

Quick Review Assist

Quick Review Assist is an AI-powered feature that helps customers write authentic reviews by generating a draft based on their input.

How It Works

  1. Customer clicks "Quick Review Assist" button on the review writing page
  2. Customer enters 3-5 points they liked (for positive ratings) or areas for improvement (for negative ratings)
  3. AI generates a review draft using:
    • Product type and name (from funnel)
    • Product description (from product, used for context only - not displayed to customer)
    • Customer's input points
    • Satisfaction rating
  4. Customer can copy the draft and edit it as needed
  5. Customer uses the draft as a starting point for their review

Features

  • AI-Powered: Uses advanced AI to generate authentic, context-aware reviews
  • Product-Aware: Considers product type, name, and description for relevant content
  • Rating-Aware: Adjusts tone based on satisfaction rating (positive vs. constructive feedback)
  • Compliant: Generates reviews that comply with marketplace policies
  • Optional: Customers can write reviews manually or use Quick Review Assist
  • Editable: Generated drafts can be edited by customers before submission
  • Fallback UX: If AI is temporarily unavailable, customers see a clear inline message and can continue with manual review writing.

Note: Quick Review Assist is available on review writing pages. It is not shown on feedback-only pages, including unified marketplace low-rating flows when Force feedback routing is enabled.

Private Notes to Seller

Customers can send a private note to the seller in feedback-driven paths. For positive review steps, sellers can choose whether to show this optional box by enabling Show "Private note to the seller" on positive review step.

  • Private notes are not posted publicly - only the seller sees them
  • For positive 4-5 star review steps, the private note box is hidden by default and shown only when the seller enables it.
  • For unified low-rating flows with Force feedback routing off, customers can send a private note and still choose to write a public review.
  • For unified low-rating flows with Force feedback routing on, customers see only the private feedback box.
  • Private notes are stored in the lead record and visible in the Leads table
  • Useful for customers who want to share additional feedback privately

Freebie Delivery

If a freebie is configured in the funnel, customers receive it after completing the funnel flow, regardless of their rating or whether they submitted a review or feedback.

File freebies can be PDF, DOC, DOCX, Excel, or ZIP files up to 1.8 MB. If you have multiple companion resources, bundle them into one ZIP file so the customer receives a single download.

You can enable both instant download and email delivery to give customers multiple access options.

Use this section when writing funnel copy, insert text, and follow-up messaging. This is tactical guidance for setup teams.

Recommended phrasing

  • "Share your honest feedback"
  • "Tell us about your experience"
  • "If you found this helpful, you're welcome to leave a review"
  • "Reader companion resource"
  • "Post-purchase support material"
  • "Honest feedback welcome"

Avoid phrasing like

  • "Leave a 5-star review to unlock"
  • "Positive review required for access"
  • "Reward in exchange for review outcome"
  • "Only positive reviews are welcome"
  • "Contact us instead of leaving a negative review"

Companion-resource framing (checklist/workbook/bonus)

For Amazon/KDP-style flows, position freebies as companion resources that extend customer value after purchase.

  • Keep the value proposition focused on customer support and product usefulness.
  • Do not frame access as payment for a specific rating outcome.
  • Keep review language neutral and independent from reward wording.
