Edit or Modify a Funnel

Update funnel settings, customer experience options, and freebie configuration.

Quick Overview

  1. Navigate to Funnels → Find your funnel
  2. Click the "Edit" button or click on the funnel name
  3. Navigate through the wizard steps to make changes
  4. Update any fields you want to modify
  5. Click "Update Funnel" to save changes

Note: Product assignment and per-product marketplace selection are editable only while a funnel is in Draft. In non-Draft statuses, clone the funnel to create a variation.

What Can Be Edited

Step 1: Funnel Setup

  • Funnel Name: Change the internal name at any time
  • Funnel Type: Cannot be changed after creation (create a new funnel for different type)
  • Products: Editable only in Draft status (Review/Lead funnels: 1-5 products, ARC funnels: exactly 1 product, all selected products must be same type)
  • Marketplace Selection by Product: Editable only in Draft status, with a maximum of 3 marketplaces per selected product

Step 2: Customer Experience / ARC Configuration / Lead Collection

  • Rating Options: Change between 5-star and 3-option scales
  • Minimum Review Length: Adjust the minimum character requirement
  • Force feedback routing: For platform marketplaces, route ratings below 4 stars to Feedback instead of Review
  • Engagement Features: Enable/disable WhatsApp collection, recommendation question, marketing consent
  • ARC Configuration (ARC funnels): Update ARC file, expiration date, reminder days
  • Custom Questions (Lead funnels): Add, edit, or remove custom questions

Step 3: Freebie & Delivery

  • Include Freebie: Add or remove freebie from your funnel
  • Lead Capture Option: Set Marketplace Default, Email Optional, or Email Required (locks to Email Required when freebie is enabled)
  • Freebie Type: Change between file upload, coupon code, or external URL
  • Freebie File/Code/URL: Update the freebie content
  • Delivery Methods: Change instant download and/or email delivery options
  • Email Template: Select different freebie delivery template (Growth plan)
  • Email Subject & Body: Customize email content (Growth plan)

Step 4: Launch & Share

  • Funnel Status: Change between Draft and Active
  • QR Code Customization: Update logo, colors, text, and download QR code
  • Funnel Links: Links remain the same but regenerate if products change

Step-by-Step Editing Process

1. Access the Edit Page

  1. Go to Funnels page
  2. Find the funnel you want to edit in the list
  3. Click the "Edit" button (pencil icon) or click on the funnel name
  4. The edit wizard will open with all current settings

2. Navigate Through Steps

  • Use "Previous" and "Next" buttons to navigate between steps
  • All current values are pre-filled in the form fields
  • Make changes to any fields you want to update
  • You don't need to change every field - only update what you need

3. Review Changes

  • Use the "Preview" button to see how changes will affect the customer experience
  • Double-check all modified fields before saving
  • Ensure required fields are still filled after your changes

4. Save Changes

  1. Click "Update Funnel" button on the final step
  2. Wait for confirmation message
  3. You'll be redirected to the Funnels list page
  4. Changes are immediately applied to the funnel

Important Considerations

  • Active/Paused Funnels: Product assignment and per-product marketplace selection are locked. Use Clone Funnel to create a variation with different products or marketplaces.
  • Product Changes: If you change products, the product description shown to customers will update automatically.
  • Freebie Changes: If you remove a freebie or change the freebie type, existing customers who already received the freebie are not affected.
  • ARC File Updates: If you update the ARC file, the new file will be used for future downloads. Previous downloads remain valid.
  • Status Changes: Changing from Active to Draft will immediately stop the funnel from accepting new submissions. Changing from Draft to Active will make it live.
  • Funnel Links: The main funnel link remains the same, but if you change products significantly, you may want to verify the link still works correctly.

What Cannot Be Changed

  • Funnel Type: Once created, you cannot change a Review & Lead Funnel to an ARC Funnel or Lead Funnel. You must create a new funnel.
  • Funnel ID: The unique identifier for your funnel cannot be changed.
  • Historical Data: Past submissions, leads, and reviews remain linked to the original funnel configuration.
