When Are Emails Sent?
ReviewLead sends emails in two ways: Automatically (triggered by customer actions) and Manually (when you send them from the Leads table).
Automatic Emails (System-Triggered)
These emails are sent automatically when customers complete specific actions in your funnels. No action required from you.
- Freebie Delivery Email: Sent immediately when a customer completes your funnel AND you have selected "Email Delivery" as a delivery method in your funnel settings (Step 3: Freebie & Delivery). Contains download link with 7-day expiration.
- ARC Download Email: Can be sent from the Leads table when you use an ARC template; you must select an ARC Funnel so the download link is generated. System-triggered ARC download may also apply depending on your funnel setup.
- ARC Review Reminder Email: Sent automatically X days after the customer downloads the ARC file (you set the number of days: 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 days in Step 2 of ARC funnel creation).
- ARC Thank You Email: Sent automatically when a customer from an ARC funnel submits a review.
- ARC Feedback Thank You Email: Sent automatically when a customer from an ARC funnel submits private feedback.
Important: For automatic emails to work, you must complete the required profile fields (Brand Name/Email Sender Name, Customer Support Email, Physical Mailing Address). The system will guide you if any fields are missing.
Manual Emails (You Send Them)
These emails are sent only when YOU choose to send them from the Leads table:
- Individual Emails: Click "Contact" button on any lead → Select template → Customize → Send. Used for one-on-one follow-ups, support responses, or personalized outreach.
- Bulk Emails: Select multiple leads → Click "Bulk Email" → Select template → Customize → Send to all. Used for announcements, marketing campaigns, or mass follow-ups.
- Resend Download Email: Click "Resend Download" action on a lead to resend the freebie delivery email (if their original link expired).
Note: You have full control over manual emails - they are never sent without your explicit action.
Email Template Types & When to Use Them
Freebie Delivery (Automatic)
Sent when customer completes funnel with email delivery enabled. Contains download link.
Review Request (Manual)
Send manually to remind customers to leave reviews. Includes review URL.
Follow-up (Manual)
Send manually for general follow-ups after customer completes funnel.
Reminder (Manual)
Send manually to remind customers about pending actions or offers.
Welcome (Manual or Automatic*)
Send manually to welcome new customers. *Can be automated in future updates.
Product Launch (Manual)
Send from Contact or Bulk Email to announce launches. Supported for bulk sends to multiple leads.
Notification (Manual)
Send manually for general announcements or important updates.
