Lead Capture funnel

Capture name and email from every visitor, plus optional custom questions and freebies. There is no satisfaction rating, no written review step, and no product picker on Step 1—this funnel is built for lists, waitlists, and simple opt-ins.

Best for: Waitlists, newsletter signups, event interest, lead magnets, or any campaign where you only need contact details. Use Review & Lead when you need star ratings, reviews, and marketplace flows.

Products — not used on this funnel

Step 1 does not attach catalog products. Instead you choose This funnel is for (book, course, service, etc.) as a label so you can sort funnels and leads in your mind and in filters—not as a link to the Products table.

You cannot change that category after save in the same way as other locked fields; clone the funnel if you picked the wrong bucket.

Wizard steps (seller)

  1. Funnel setup: Name, type Lead Capture funnel, language, and This funnel is for. Read What is this funnel type for? under the type dropdown—it explains Lead Capture vs other types.
  2. Lead collection: Email field setup, optional WhatsApp, custom questions, marketing consent.
  3. Freebie & delivery: Optional freebie and delivery methods. Contact details explains that name and email are always collected—there is no “Marketplace default / email optional” dropdown for this funnel type. File freebies can be PDF, DOC, DOCX, Excel, or ZIP files up to 1.8 MB.
  4. Launch & share: Links, QR code, QR Card with signup-oriented default text (not post-purchase review wording).

What customers experience

Typically: enter name and email (and any questions you added), then a thank-you page; optional freebie delivery per your settings. No review or marketplace posting step.

Overview: Customer flow & routing.

Tips

  • Name your funnel something you will recognize in Leads and analytics (e.g. “Spring waitlist – course X”).
  • If you later need reviews, create a new Review & Lead funnel—type cannot be switched after creation.
  • If your freebie includes several files, bundle them into one ZIP file before uploading. This keeps delivery simple for the customer.
